In this digital age, why can’t we use a current picture taken at the games. I know reporters are there. It’s not hard to snap a photo. Why be so lazy? ####, you can even take a snap while watching on an iPad . . . (above)
Sorry, just a pet peeve . . .
They are fun to watch!!! Love the way they hit off speed pitches to the opposite field when pitched outside!!! That’s textbook hitting in the photo of Valerie . . . The outside change up was drilled to left for a run scoring single.

... how is this team only ranked 25? Exactly how much better are the other 24 teams? These girls are terrific and prove it every time they take the field!

As of 6 hours ago, the USA TODAY COACHES POLL shows 4 ACC Teams in the Top 25 . . . Sure there are better D1 Softball Conferences, but I’m tickled where we are after less than a full year of competition.

No, we're not in a bad conference. Traditionally, about comparable to baseball. Dominated by the western teams until the 2000's. Then the SEC and b12 got into heavy. Still, up until the last decade, the p12 dominated, then the SEC won a few, Fla St won a couple. But the SEC, b12. Always hosting regional and supers.
The ACC finally decided to take it more serious since there was so much talent in the area.
We're a good team but as in baseball, you got to have the arms. Awesome to be our theoretical first year. You got a taste of the separation when we played VA Tech who seems to be challenging FSU and the dookies this year for the ACC. All three will most likely host a region.
Would be quite the accomplishment should we host one. Should be a good series next weekend with louisville. But we'll know a great deal more in 2 weeks with the dookies... And then a good yardstick with the single coot game. Although, coots are a bit down after graduating a good bit of talent. But they're still perennial top 10 team.
If he can recruit against coots, Fla, fsu, Bama, Tenn etc, watch out, we'll be going to the cws in no time.
Good stuff. Coaches matter. Clemson shouldn't play 2nd fiddle to anyone in any sport.
