I don't Facebook, but that Marketplace is purty cool.

Mrs No wanted to sell some of her clothes instead of automatically donating everything to Goodwill. Daughter of is handling most of work on her Facebook acct. Eye-opening that you can market to the whole country, Facebook takes a very small cut, Facebook calculates the shipping and adds that to the cost for the buyer (after determining if UPS or USPS is better somehow), and emails you a prepaid shipping label. Seller packages the item and drops it off, Profit.

TL/DR: Boomer discovers commonly known internet thing.

i use the local option in marketplace. Can usually find a sucker to buy my stuff.
Speaking of, gotta sell my grill for $10, just to get rid of it.

yeah, I've bought a lot on ebay, not sold anything.

only drawback I can see to Marketplace or eBay is there's none of the adventure and drama about potentially getting robbed or murdered when meeting someone in person for a Craigslist sale.

We sold a lot of household stuff there when we downsized last year. The only downside is apparently people can't understand "You will need to bring help to move this" I was the moving help on most of the purchases. One sixty something guy showed up with his 80 something dad to move a sectional out.
