Can't believe Cagle didn't get Freshman of the Year

Tiare Jennings was chosen over teammate and freshman outfielder Jayda Coleman alongside Clemson's Valerie Cagle.
A native of San Pedro, California, Jennings holds a .485 batting average, the fifth best in the NCAA. She's also tallied 25 home runs and 84 RBIs, both of which rank among the nation's best. The 5-foot-8 freshman was the 2019-20 Gatorade Softball Player of the Year for the state of California.

Not surprising to me at all. Clemson gets snubbed on many things.

in the nation by far and possibly the best player Clemson has had ever had in their respective sport.
I guess this person was exaggerating slightly if she didn't even get Freshman of the year.

ACC softball has the same issues as ACC football

Since the PAC-10 colleges, Big-12 and SEC have long dominated the national softball scene all the bias is heavily weighted towards them. And because the idiots in Greensboro still think ACC basketball is still king, they give lip service to promoting the other sports. All those old guys in Greensboro care about is making sure the basketball tournament is played in Greensboro and as many other ACC tournaments are played in NC to ensure the good ole boys get their cut of the action. While the SEC has made sure their colleges get paid through TV, the ACC is making sure all the local businesses are getting paid in North Carolina. They have a hard time thinking outside the city limits where they live...

^^^ this should be post of the day ^^^
The biggest stumble in college sports. The ACC expansion. How's it helped? We went after washed up has beens in areas where the audience could careless about anything not named Brady or Yankees.
Not knocking cuse or BC because I like and respect them as institutions but what has our "footprint" gotten us. If anything, it's declined. If it weren't for Dabo, ACC wouldn't be crap. Don't mind Pitt so much but we should have tried to lure Penn St and perhaps another Florida team like ucf, possibly west va.

Where do you want the football championship, D.C.? They already tried Florida for the sake of FSU/Miami. Atlanta is the $EC's and we don't have a team in Tennessee. Looks like Charlotte is about as close to being in the middle of the conference as possible. From Syracuse to Miami - Boston being the exception.

I don't care where they stick the ACC Football Championship

The ACC should man up and outbid the SEC for Atlanta. That is what a conference does for its schools. Why is the ACC soccer championships held in Cary? It always seems as if the majority of sports championships are played in NC. They can play to 3/4 empty stadiums in other states in the ACC.
