I didn’t think that I could feel even better about our recruiting

but today I ran into an Ohio state fan that was furious that they’d lost a recruit to us and told me that Osu was the kid’s dream school and that HAD to be paying a fortune in nil money (I know, how ironic is that). ??
The dream school was news to me so I googled it and found this from our favorite 11 worriers crowd. We know that Clemson is the dream school for a lot of players(something in these hills) but seeing this made it even more enjoyable. ??

I posted it under one of your earlier threads. It was one of things that had me concerned and on edge until he pulled the trigger. He took and is taking a lot of heat from them. They are furious and I love it. No telling what they'll offer him to try and lure him away.

I think this is something we should be concerned about, I mean is he a solid all in commit to us, or could this be something like the guy (what was his name) that stood us up, and committed to Michigan after his friends committed to Clemson?

Though I don't remember him having a friend sign with us then go to Michigan. The one I remember vividly doing that was Robert Nkemdiche, who signed with University of Mississippi.

really does want this kid bad, they will break the NIL Bank offering he and his parents inducements that Clemson just will not match. Not because we couldn't, but because that is not the way we do business. If money / swag turns out to be the PRIMARY motivation, pretty sure Dabo will just walk away. And a kid who could have had a great mentor in his college life gets Cryan Day instead.

Day told his boosters they need $13M to assemble/retain their roster. My guess is that this commitment will get interesting before December signing day.
