is false. It's false for every professional athlete, musician, actor, etc. Sure, they obviously have access to many more women than the average Joe, but their celebrity doesn't mean that every woman they want a sexual encounter/relationship with wants one with them too. That's why we hear so many stories about stars not taking no for an answer and forcing themselves on a woman. If they could have any woman they wanted, they wouldn't be hearing no and they wouldn't be committing sexual assault/battery.
That's also why we sometimes see a famous dude with an unattractive woman. She said no, now he wants her more, and he goes to great lengths to make sure he gets what he wants.
I don't know if these allegations about Deshaun are true. I sure hope they aren't. But the "he could have any woman he wanted" argument is incorrect. And that's exactly the problem: many of these guys believe they are entitled to whatever they want, and when a woman says no, they can't believe it. Their ego can't accept it, so they persist and commit a crime to make it happen.

No woman has ever said no to me. I am 6'5, 215lbs with six-pack abs and a good job in investment banking. Lol, these athletes are all amateurs.

TD away. I'm grandfathered in. No amount of TDs can reduce my pulse at this point. The TDer would know that if they weren't looking at dirty websites in their mom's basement instead of getting a REAL woman to care for their needs.

Is to make comments to suggest a woman isn’t attractive enough to be a target of rape or assault. I have seen men say that type of stuff all the time. Assault and rape is about power and a violent mindset more than simple attraction.

In many of these situations, innocence can't be proven unless the accuser says she made it up. Then it's his word against hers, and these days, the assumption is that she's telling the truth and he's lying.

There’s plenty of examples of well off men with great families and gorgeous wives who risk it all for something with a “trashy” woman. The brain isn’t always what’s in control.

I thought people were innocent until proven guilty in this country. All I hear is that Deshaun will have to clear his name. It should be that this charlatan of a lawyer needs to prove Deshaun guilty in a court of law instead of the public eye. Where he is back-handedly releasing information to the news media.
If Deshaun is guilty let him feel the full weight of justice but if he is innocent then there should be some retribution for the lawyer and his "clients". (None of whom ever went to the police to complain)

If the woman is lying she should have to face the exact punishment he would be facing if he were/is guilty of the crime. There has to be real retribution on the part of the woman if she is lying to try and curb the false accusations out there. The only thing that happens when a woman is caught lying is make it harder for the woman who has truly been assaulted. Don know in this case but like the above poster said this is America and the burden of proof is on the woman not Deshaun. He is innocent in my eye's until she can prove her allegation. I don't care if it's hard for her to prove. I'd much rather someone get away with a crime and go free than 1 person go to prison for a crime they didn't commit. Eventually the one that got away usually ends up getting caught because usually they are repeat offenders whether sexual assault or committing a crime in general.
