I can't believe FSU hasn't announced a HC

The Noles were weeks/miles ahead of the nation when they booted Willie way back. Early signing day is less than 3 weeks off.
Surely, they've been courting their top candidates like mad. Surely, an announcement must be close - unless the top guys just won't touch the job.
If they don't announce somebody this week, I'd tend to think they're having big problems. Big news always seems to leak, and what's been heard is crickets.

I would hate that. Look what he did with absolutely no talent at BC. They were very competitive most years. Imagine what he could do with 4 and 5 star talent.

The few times I have heard Addazio speak, he's always impressed me. But, can't argue he seems to have taken BC down a bit.

They were competing for division championships way before Addazio got there. And there’s only one reason they were any good back then, and his name was Matt Ryan. He left in 2008.
Those records are very good considering he had zero talent. I mean none. They had no talent because nobody wants to play for BC. They have no facilities, no tradition, no game day atmosphere. It was a miracle he recruited AJ Dillon to come play there. He was always regarded as a great recruiter at other big name schools. He would do very well at FSU.

Cool your jets. Now that the season is finally over, we should hear something by Monday or Tuesday.
If their guy is coaching in a conference championship game, next Monday latest.

Was told today by a former player, who I attend church with, that a announcement is coming Tuesday. He thinks it’s going to be Bob Stoops.

Why would they wait until after the season to announce Bob Stoops? He’s been available with nothing tying him down and could get a start on recruiting if they announced him two weeks ago. Now if he meant Mark Stoops, that might make sense.
