The whole purpose of an on ramp is for me to get up to highway speed as I merge. But when your ### is in the right hand lane and there's no one in the left hand lane, but you persist... then I have to let up the gas or brake so I can drop in behind you...

vehicle in right lane keeps the same speed and the merging vehicle's responsibility is to speed up or slow down and find the spot to merge in
moving over to the left lane is a courtesy which I mostly do
|
