I believe some folks are off sequence on conference expansion ..

The SEC & B1G universities will certainly have a vote on which universities if any will be invited to join their respective conferences. That said, IMHO these votes will take place following conference meeting(s) with ESPN and FOX SPORTS executives to review which schools will be beneficial to their conferences in terms of national popularity, football viewer ratings, advertising dollars and bottom lines.

In other words, the networks and network sponsors will make serious recommendations, and then SEC & B1G universities will independently and collectively vet how they wish to proceed. Lots of balls in the air. It will be interested to see how this big story progresses. And thanks again to DavidHood® and BrandonRink® for updates to date! Go Tigers!

Why do it actually mater, it's already being shown that court judges now control college sports when they decided to slap the NCAA in the face and take over college sports any time they choose to do so!!!
