mask to the game. I do prefer going to the game versus watching it at home. Full stadium with a mask does not seem like a big deal.

No it's not a big deal, but where does it stop. I worry that they will tout flu numbers being down and use that to argue for masks down the road. I don't mind wearing a mask, but I do mind if this is going to become some permanent thing.

I think there’s a certain advantage in having to bring multiples of only one outfit.
One mask to protect from Covid, one to use as a diaper.

The private venue part is what I think of each time I've seen a video of a person in a store screaming at a teenage employee to show them the law which says they're required to wear a mask. Regardless of which side of the mask debate you may fall on it's private business can decide if they require one or not just as the customer can decide to do or not do business there based on it.

What rights are you talking about? Never seen it in the constitution that the gubmint couldn’t make laws. That’s kind of the point. Cue seat belt laws, mandatory car insurance, required vaccines for schools, nutrition facts on food products, food safety, building codes, zoning, public utility.
God forbid the gubmint infringe on your rights to drive your unregistered car without your seatbelt to a dilapidated restaurant so you can eat your undercooked chicken and room temp cheese product.
You’ll notice the guiding principle in all of these is that your rights end where your neighbors begin. And maybe allowing unvaccinated buffoons into public gatherings without masks is infringing on someone else’s inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

I think he was talking about his Constitutional rights. "Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness," is out of the Declaration of Independence, but I wouldn't expect for you to know that. I am pretty sure that our forefathers did consider breathing to be a violation of someone else's personal rights. You do understand that you also can choose not to go to the game, right? Out of curiosity how does that seat belt improve your driving?
Of course, you are probably ok with the maskless pot smoking birthday party of our former President.

By the way I have been vaccinated since the first day my age group became eligible in South Carolina. THAT IS WHY I don't give a flying flip if someone else chooses not to wear a mask.

Nope. So, a smoker is told that he can only smoke in certain areas. Why because the smoke could damage someone else's body? So let's say covid is cigarettes. You can have covid but because "covid" could damage someone else's body you must wear a mask in certain situations. Your right can be altered when that said right potentially endangers or negatively impacts others. This is not new. Enjoy the games (mask or not) and move on!!

Not exactly. As I understand it, the virus spreads via droplets in the air. It may also spread in the air by itself, without droplets, but I am not sure about that. Regardless, it spreads via the air. Anyway... in order to get sick with the virus, you have to get it in your respiratory system in great enough numbers to cause said sickness before your body can fight it off. When you breathe, you suck in x amount of air, and the more viruses that are in that x amount of air, the more get in your body, and the more likely you are to get sick. Now there is a whole lot more air outside than inside, so it would stand to reason that there would be a higher concentration of viruses in indoor air. Imagine farting in a room vs. outside... same phenomenon. So yes, more risk indoors.

You better hope that the droplets are involved because the mask won't do you any good for the virus by itself. Somebody on here made a post that putting on the mask to prevent the coronavirus was like putting up a chain link fence to keep mosquitoes out of your backyard. Without the droplets, that is a fairly accurate analogy for most masks.

mostly cloth masks and paper masks that don't work well. Paper masks are meant to be thrown away constantly, but people wear them twice or more. Some people wear the same cloth mask for days in a row.
