BTW, what is with this BS in the Wisconsin justice system

where the jury is instructed to consider a charge, and then if they decide the person isn't guilty of that charge, then consider another lesser charge, and then if that doesn't fit consider another lesser charge, and so on and so forth?
How the #### is that considered right?
Pick a charge, prove the case. If you can't prove it, the person goes free. This rolling charges nonsense is worse than North Korea.

It’s very clear at this point that this thing has devolved (or started out as) into nothing more than a political/social trial. Whether or not K.R. should have been in Kenosha, with or without a weapon, is immaterial. The available evidence shows a pretty clear case of self defense. But here we are: legacy media outlets apparently now attempting to dox jurors, and BLM folks chanting “justice for Jacob Blake” on the courthouse steps. What did K.R. have to do with Jacob…never mind. SMFH. This is a social justice trial, not an actual legal one.

Yeah he shot 3 white dudes right? Why is BLM involved? Because they are nothing more than trouble makers looking for any opportunity to create unrest.

It’s hard to argue against your assertion regarding the BLM activists’ motives. No part of this situation, including the shooting of Jacob Blake, appears to have any component of actual racism. Yet the corporate media, social media SJWs, and even President Biden, have proclaimed K.R. is a “white supremacist”. I don’t get it man.

Yeah it takes a ridiculous spin to call this white supremacy. I’m thinking surely most people don’t take these race baiters seriously anymore.

That is typically the way any trial goes right? A layout of all the charges against a person is presented , each one of the charges determined that can be applicable to the each crime is then picked apart to see if any of those can be proven, if one can’t be proven then the person walks out with none of those pending charges. That by definition is trial by jury? Correct?

Yeah, it sounds like they try to find someone of guilt when there is none! You are correct!

The beginning. In Wisconsin, I would assume that the Defense is fully aware this is going to happen near the end if they are doing well.
Plus the concept is lesser included offense, meaning that they can’t meet some element of the greater charge. So it follows that you can still be guilty of negligent homicide and not murder because they can’t prove intent, for example.

I always thought you could only get 1 charge per offense

but when the judge was reading out instructions, he was talking about multiple rolling charges for the same offense.
Yes, it's common for a case to have multiple charges, but that's usually like: 1st charge: murder 1, 2nd charge: possession of an illegal firearm, etc
This was like: 1st charge: Murder 1. If you don't think that works, Man 1. If you don't think that works, reckless endangerment... etc (all for the same offense)
