I heard a few complaints about Bama fans, but

Jan 11, 2017, 1:26 PM

aside from a brief standoff with one obnoxious guy, I thought the Bama fans were overall more respectful and knowledgeable than most fan bases. VT really disappointed me at the ACCCG, but Bama was a pleasant surprised.

I realized that this crowd may not be representative of their fanbase as a whole, but this is what I experienced...and I sat for the last three quarters in the BAMA endzone...directly behind their band.

VT fans have probably replaced Merryland fans if u know what

I mean.

I thought that was Lousyville...

...based on what I've heard and read from their fans.

I could have warned you Va tech fans are terrible. They've

been awful every time we've played them but Bama fans are actually some of the coolest fans you'll encounter. I'm talking about the real Alabama fans, not leg humping coots and SEC chest beating hicks.

I've never had a problem with their fans....

but their students are unbelievably mouthy and obnoxious.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I found the key rattling to be such a passive and lame thing to do on 3rd down.

No way I could tolerate being in the stands at a VT game for 4q of that. I can't help but think the sounds is lost by the time it reaches the field too.

I agree.

I sat in a bama section and the fans near us were great the whole game. They seemed to know what was coming. Several congratulated us after the game.

We had no problems whatsoever with any Alabama fans, however sitting behind us in the
all Clemson section were several fouled mouth Clemson fans. What an embarrassment and
disgrace they are to Tiger Nation.
