Hypocrisy is rife in the gamecock camp this afternoon....

Oct 14, 2013, 5:07 PM

the host of the local sports call-in show in Chucktown spent much of the first broadcast hour ranting and lambasting Chris Fowler and Paul Finebaum, both of ESPN (you know--the SEC network)--Fowler, for mistakenly reporting that "the Clownman" was not on the team bus when it pulled up to Arkansas' stadium (though he did correct the report and apologize later) and Finebaum for making the statement that Doo-Doo was "the biggest joke in college football" earlier in the week.

Now, I realize that chickennation was upset by Fowler's erroneous report and subsequent correction...&IMO, Finebaum is permanently brain-damaged from years of listening to phone calls from the cast of "God's Little Acre" that constituted his daily radio show in Birmingham.....but ya know, there was not one mention made by the local host of the fact it was Steve Spurrier who was the VERY FIRST ONE to throw Doo-Doo's injury-riddled corpse under the proverbial bus. No, despite the fact that Spurrier has shown time and again that he has no loyalty to chickentech, no criticism of the ol' ball sac is entertained. Huzzahs were rampant amongst chickenfans when Clowney's hit on the Michigan back was shown a hundred times a day for months, but when the same analysts who had speculated Doo-Doo might go first in the draft and/or win the Heisman began to criticize Clowney for lackluster play and then reacted to his own head coach's comments upon Doo-Doo announcing he'd not be playing in a game seconds before the team was due to take the field ESPN suddenly was "anti-gamecock".

chickentech fans are as full poultry guano as their head coach is.

Get to hear the last hour of Hartin giggle and "uhh, wehll, ugh, I uhh cough cough giggle" on my way home. I was telling a Gamecock guy I work with - exactly one week ago, they were wanting Clowney to quit the team and fire Spurrier and Ward. Now, those same morons are predicting to win out, beat us, beat Alabama in the SECCG and play Oregon (and win) in the NCG.

They can't have it both ways.

They were crowing their tails off while all the nation had to witness the HIT over and over and over. Now that the nation is seeing THAT program for what it really is , their crowing has turned to crying.

I listen everyday and while he does tell it like it is most time he is totally in love with spurrier. He does no wrong in his eyes. I listen and it is funny how there are hardly any Clemson callers that call in. We have to win this year to shut these clowns up. He says the apology was not sincere. I watched and thought it was fine.
