Hunter Renfrow Thought/Question

Apr 11, 2019, 2:56 PM

Why not the Texans?

Now, I don't play fantasy football to know all of the ins and outs of players and productivity, etc.; however, I know that when they lost Will Fuller, Demaryius Thomas, and others, they lost their offensive mojo. As soon as one receiver goes down, everyone begins to double-team Nuk (as they should). Deshaun is left to run for his life behind a putrid Offensive line, trying to find an open, undrafted receiver from Limestone College (no offense to that guy, but you get the point).

Now, I'm partial because of all the former Clemson players on Houston's roster, but I feel like after Houston improves their O-line and find a replacement in the secondary, why not Renfrow?

Houston Texan's 2019 Draft Picks:
Round 1 23rd overall
Round 2 54th overall (Seattle)
Round 2 55th overall
Round 3 86th overall
Round 5 161st overall
Round 6 195th overall
Round 7 220th overall (New York, via trade with Denver)

And yes; I know the thoughts of reuniting DW4 and Renfrow... that's one of the biggest reasons I'd like to see it happen.

What do you guys think?

Texans already have Kiki Coutee

While we would all love to see DW and Renfrow back together, the Texans already have Kiki Coutee filling that role. They have many other needs such as OL, more OL, and secondary.

If he's still on the board late, maybe, but I think the Patriots grab him first.

Will Fuller, as a speedster, was their biggest loss,

If he is not coming back, they need a speedy receiver like what is his name at USuck, I am sorry to say, I hope Will comes back though as he and DW4 had a dynamic connection.

Yeah Watson to Fuller was pretty electric. Almost 20% of his receptions have been TDs since Watson got there. Coutee is a solid player when he's healthy, but he missed 2 stretches last year with nagging injuries. They might look at Renfrow in the 4th or 5th.
