What’s the deal with HJ? He has 5 years of college football experience under his belt. He has started 8 games in his career and appeared in many other games between Northwestern and Clemson. Is he a great QB….no he is not. What he does have tho is experience and leadership abilities (named team captain at Northwestern). Between DJ’s lack of productivity/awareness and CK’s lack of experience I believe HJ deserved a shot. I can guarantee he knows the plays and has enough experience to not make bonehead plays. With him this year we wouldn’t have gotten anything flashy but we would have had consistency at the position while Cade learns and develops.
