If they TRULY thought DJ was the better option then that says a lot about them and their evaluation of players.

Good to see one of our fans who gets it.
The board has been full of egotistical fools who really believe that they understand football and can manage the roster better than our coaches.
Those idiots will never stop screaming if we don't win every game by 4 touchdowns.

That's not the case . . .

that's been a convenient slogan for a while on here ("you think you know better than these professionals? Really? He has 2 Nat'l Championships, etc etc).
But this is not only a poorly thought-out objection to the critics- it's an irrelevant one- because it wrongly identifies the critique itself. It's an equivocation... it conflates a particular, substantive critique, about a specific matter, with a generalized claim of superiority of credentials or knowledge. When you implicitly accuse people (inaccurately) of "claiming they know better," - in some broad, undifferentiated way - than the coaches . . . then what you are doing is ignoring the scope and topic of the critique, in favor of a broader critique they aren't making. It is often possible for lay-person to spot a weakness or mistake that was in the blindspot of an expert, without making the assumption that they **generally** "know better," or more than the expert.

Lmao it’s the biggest DJ boot licker on the board! How does being DEAD A$$ WRONG and looking FOOLISH feel? You sound as salty as Dabo..anything else you want to preach to us? You and that Striperfan guy and his arrogant ramblings. What a joke. Clemson fans know good football. Never forget that.

For someone as incredibly successful as Dabo, he is indeed humble.
The TNet board could use some more fans with humility instead of hubris. I've never seen so many know-it-all fans who get mad at Dabo for stating the Clemson would never have won the ACC Atlantic without DJU.

What insights do you possess that tells you that Cade was ready to lead us to victories against NC State, Wake Forest, and FSU?
Rivals.com or 247.com's HS ratings of Cade? Do you really think that our coaches are so stupid that, despite watching Cade in Spring and Summer, and also in practice during the season, that he was ready to go as the starting QB right out of the gate?
C'mon.

"Know it alls".

What one typically calls another when proven wrong. The only hubris here is our head coach's, and I consider it a real shame, because before this season, I was under the impression that he was the kind of guy who didn't measure himself by fame and fortune, but it's not looking that way at all....it's gone to his head. He's welcome to be wrong, but don't expect a love-fest when he acts like those who disagree with him (while he's clearly wrong) are the imbeciles.

When should Dabo have started Cade over DJU?
Don't just say when, but what were your insights (before the games in question) that led you to your 'timing for Cade to start' beliefs?
This is where the rubber meets the road.

post history. It's there. If it helps your search, skills I saw demonstrated at Syracuse were where I knew. It doesn't help DJ's case that the Cuse game is also when his skill set began regressing.

Looks like you are competing to be the Idiot of the Night winner.
Do you really think that the entire night's success was due to Cade and our blockers and receivers ignoring Streeter's plays and just freelancing out there?
Stop embarrassing yourself.

Knowing Dabo, Had DJ somehow miraculously showed out tonight he would be quick to praise himself on sticking with DJ and telling everyone else how wrong they were and how right he was
