How would you rate your nerves during the last OSU drive?

Dec 29, 2019, 8:32 PM

I'd say for me it was about a solid 8.5 (on par with the 2016 Louisville game). Once I saw them routinely get those chunk plays, I just kept thinking "Ok, who's going to be the Marcus Edmond of the game?" And in true Clemson fashion, someone stepped up that we might not have envisioned doing so.

Was this a true heart racing moment for you or did you have high confidence that we would get the stop?

My youngest son said "you move around a lot" so I guess I was pretty uptight! :)

I had 2 blood pressure spikes and told my son this is a heart attack game but actually felt calm and more relaxed on the OSU last drive. I went totally nuts when Turner intercepted the pass.

I was in the other room doing my chores, I just came back in to watch the interception play.

I usually am a crazed bundle of nerves, but not last night.

Based on your rating method, I was a 10. For most of the game. It's probably not healthy for me to watch but with the group that watch the game it can't be helped.

Hadn’t been that up and down since the game in Tampa/Phoenix.

Man what a few years it’s been

was like for me and my son in Tampa.

I went into ventricular fibrillation during the OSU drive at the end. Paramedics John and Roy came, defibrillated me, started an IV with D5W and transported me to Rampart.

I was pretty nervous, but I also had a deep belief that someone would make a play. it has been so long that it is had for me to visualize this team losing. I hope it stays that way for many games to come.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The closer they got the calmer I was

Dec 29, 2019, 8:48 PM

I was afraid of the big play for a score. Once they got inside the 30 I was very comfortable

I think everyone on here would have been a lot calmer if Dabo had just taken the time to make a quick post and let us know he told Nolan Turner he was going make the game-winning interception.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

whoa, nelly, that was a wild one. I was convinced

at least twice that the tigers were gonna lose that game. But they didn’t, and I’m here to enjoy the victory. ??

I'd say 8.5 is about right. I kept trying to calculate if we were going to have enough time to get the ball back and score if OSU scored. But I also kept saying we had to get a pick and just end the stress. When Turner made the interception I had a split second of "that is a Tiger jersey" and then I screamed so loud that my throat is still sore.

On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being a nervous breakdown, I would say I was an 8 from the first play till we intercepted the ball on the last drive.

My nerves were so shot the whole game . On their last drive, not going to lie..I went outside and just stood there looking up at the stars thinking, wish my wife would hurry up and come tell me we got an interception. And finally she did. As a 55 year old life long clemson fan I can't handle much more lol.
But what a great feeling when they win.
Actually re-watching the game now, and can enjoy it

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

C'mon man- at 55 and you had to go outside? - I'm 71 and

Dec 29, 2019, 9:29 PM

actually couldn't make my jelly legs move me from the recliner until the interception.

Actually, I was not terribly nervous because we knew they would bend but don't break and get them to the short field...we have seen that for several years now ...AND, we held them 3 times already to a FG so I felt pretty good.
