How would our defense stack up to Bamas offense?

I think we could slow them down at the very least. And if our offense is clicking just maybe we can match them point by point. And would have a chance to win in the end. Just my thoughts Trevor Lawrence is getting better

Right now they would beat us by about 30.

I've got as much $ as you feel comfortable putting up right now that says we wouldn't lose by 30. Have you even watched our defense? Don't just gloss stats. Put player on player and tell me where our liability is other than Tanner. There's not a single Bama game where they log mid 20s in tackle count.

Why do folks refuse to acknowledge that A&M was lucky to catch 5+ passes? Our secondary is not that weak (except an over-eager Tanner), tipped balls and PI calls don't normally stack against a team all in one game like we saw 9/8.

Would love to see a Clemson - Bama rematch. And right now I would have Bama as a 10-13 point favorite, but this Clemson team has tremendous potential to mature and compete with Bama by the season-end if: - OL play can be improved, - team stays healthy, - TL starts getting most of the reps soon with Tee, Amari, Hunter, Justyn, Derion and ETN, - and the rest of the team accepts and works hard in their roles.
IMHO Bama can only be beat through the air. And this Clemson team will not manhandle or outsmart Bama and that is not casting shade on Clemson. We are in the hunt with a lot of season left. Go Tigers!

I think they could stand up well.
They could excel if they could come up with a countermeasure to Nick Saban’s secret device called the “Camo-hold”.
It makes blatant holding invisible to sportscasters, Bama fans, and referees.

If Dabo puts the best 11 on both sides the ball on the field and stays with them. We have just as much talent as Bama, but then can Dabo out Coach Nick. He is 1-2 so far , so the answer is yes

Bama can score 30 on any college football team in the country. I would consider holding them to that a success.
