How would Leggett be at WR?

Sep 26, 2014, 12:42 PM

I think McCullough is a better fit at the position.

Seems Leggett could create some matchup problems for CB's.

Leggett doesn't have TE bulk ... he's pretty lean.

Leggett can be a great tight end.

But it doesn't matter what position he plays if he can't put in the work and doesn't give great effort.

At 6'6 250, he's big enough. He just doesn't block like he is.

Looks like Tarzan plays like Jane. Seen many players like him that had the body and talent, but for whatever reason were just soft.

It is what it is

slow, but when we split our tight ends out in Morris' system, it creates said match-up problems.

He needs to focus on coaching baseball.

He can think more about hobbies in a few years.

Re: Slow***

I appreciate SLOW being a problem - but at 6'5"+, how dang fast does he really need to be? If our QB can throw it to him, and throw it high enough, the defenders are going to have fits trying to defend it. JMO - I'd use him at WR in a heartbeat. JL was supposed to be a huge factor for us this year, and has barely been used. Sad really. Wasted opportunities.

He lacks one crutial element

Sep 26, 2014, 1:29 PM

He doesn't have a mean streak. There is no aggression in his blocking what so ever. Whether its effort or what, I'm not sure, but I've yet to see that killer instinct out of JL and that has been what has disappointed me the most about him.

He'd be a leg up on the competition. ....

I thought he was up to 251.

He doesn't start @ TE, why would he be a WR?***
