so low on the Vikings depth chart? Mack listed as 3rd team - hard to fathom the Vikings have 5 better CBs on their roster. Even Jayron is listed as 2nd team.

talented player on the team, but the coaches don't want anyone else to know it. Like the situation has been for C.J. Spiller.

Or, he just isn't as good as those ahead of him on the depth chart.

Mack's Dline was dominant in college, but I really thought he'd have more of a S. Anthony type impact (at his position) from the jump. Safety is a really hard position to translate seeing as how you act like the Mike of the secondary. So I figured Mack would lock down like he did in college immediately, while Kearse would have a "learning curve".
