How Much Would ND Game Cancellation Cost Clemson?

Assuming Clemson sold 69,000(capacity minus 12,000 for
students) tickets at $85 each the loss could be as much as
$5,865,000 plus the loss of revenue from concessions, programs, and parking. That would be a huge hit to the budget. Does Clemson have insurance to cover cancelled games?

Did you buy your ticket already?

Does it say it will be refunded for any reason?

Certainly there would be lost revenue but not from ticket sales. No refunds.

I can't find the article but remember after 9/11 there was talk if the Duke game would have been cancelled or rescheduled. They rescheduled it because of the potential to have to issue refunds and there was something about the contract with the ACC. I believe it says that on the ticket so if you can't use the ticket, they don't have to refund you that money.


Even rained out baseball games just result in a general admission ticket to another game.
