You’re an honorable

Jan 17, 2022, 9:27 AM

Clemson man. You obviously didn’t go to Sarah Lawrence or DePawal or some other liberal arts school.

How do you decide from which account you are going to post your message board gold? I assume this is the same guy/girl/non-binary person behind the treasure trove of insight that is brought to us by morbidtiger. When you create another account to pump thumbs up to your main account is it hard to decide how active your new fake account should be?

Wow, I'm happy to receive that anger from you. Sounds like

Jan 17, 2022, 10:33 AM

it's been pent up for awhile. If you need to vent more I'm tough and can handle it. I hope you feel better soon. Maybe it's sexual frustration? I don't know but something you can work on.

A. You're responding to a post I made to Weslichek, not you, so I'll pass on your idea to relieve sexual tension; clearly they were right and it'll make you go blind.

2. My reply to your post wasn't in the least bit out of anger just stating facts. Don't know what position you vacated, or even if you rely did, but pretty sure you didn't forfeit almost $3M to do it. It was a nice story thanks for sharing.

You really should try to keep the homophobic bullying to a minimum, though. It’s really uncool. Not sure what I’m your life you’re so unhappy about, but I hope it gets better or you find someone to talk it through with. We’re here for you if you need us.

Ok so you're saying we should fire him.

Jan 17, 2022, 10:52 AM [ in reply to Re: Wow, I'm happy to receive that anger from you. Sounds like ]

I'm ok with that, but I prefer to give the option of stepping down. I mean surely there is a job with better fans, better facilities, and more reasonable expectations for the salary waiting for him. But if not, I agree with you firing may be best.

When he gets let go he will be given the option to resign with a negotiated buy out; that’s how it works when the school wants to part ways. You’re implying that he should just walk into Neff’s office and volunteer to leave which would mean he is giving up all of that money. I think Brownell is a really good guy; I’m not so sure that he’s a really good basketball coach. The assertion that if he had enough integrity he would let Clemson off the hook for his pay is just false.

2024 white level member flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Now that is actually a good point. I don't think he should

Jan 17, 2022, 11:06 AM

have to give up his buy out money either. At least he isn't a ###### bag and has run a clean program except for that one #######, but I don't think he knew anything about that. He might be a great administrator or assistant coach? Or to be honest may just be more successful somewhere else. Dabo is an outstanding football coach, but doubt he would be as successful at Alabama, Georgia etc.

How much were they paying you to be the cub scouts den

Jan 17, 2022, 9:53 AM

Mother? I assume you are directing this at our basketball coach who makes $2.6M/year. You gonna turn down that salary?

2024 white level member flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Many people here think that’s a lot of money for power 5 basketball coach.

Jan 17, 2022, 10:53 AM

Leonard Hamilton does

Jan 17, 2022, 10:57 AM

And he knows more about college basketball than anyone on this bored. And is the only one on this bored who would stand a chance playing Dabo in a game of 1:1. We all know our coach would get crushed.

Hmm maybe you are actually Tigerbalm that’s the kind of wit we’ve come to love from him. Now I’m almost as confused about your identity as you are about how to identify. I guess I just thought you were morbidtiger because of the clear misogyny and hate that you share with him also. Also I saw you give him a thumbs up which is not something any sane unrelated person would do.

2024 white level member flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Guys, I’ve made it

Jan 17, 2022, 11:20 AM

I got compared to Tigerbalm. Thank you for making my day.

He’s literally the funniest poaster on here and I’m just a guy trying to hold our basketball coach accountable.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

"funny" is the word, I'll agree***

fact:in the late 50's or early 60's ted williams went into the red sox front office and offered to take a salary cut, because he felt that he hadn't performed as well as he should have during the previous season.can you imagine that happening in todays sports world?another interesting little factoid:ted was half hispanic.he was my boyhood idol, and i didn't find that out until recently when my son gave me his biography.met him once at a baseball card show in albany,ny over 30 years ago-a really nice, genuine guy.

There is an island south of Georgetown that the Yawkey Foundation donated to SCDNR. My ex wife was loaned a small book they had put out on the island while trying to get funding for a research project. Evidently, Williams and some of the other Red Sox players came down to hunt and fish on the island from time to time.

Do you know what was Williams's definition of a poor season? He would have probably been ashamed of a 0.333 batting average.
