Not to be a Debbie Downer, but football was not an NCAA Championship. Clemson was "voted" National Champions in '81.Clemson actually has several NC trophies from that year.

I believe we have one (possible two?) National Championship in Air Rifle.
The Clemson University Shotgun Club, propelled by first-place finishes in several individual events, won the Division III national championship a few years ago.
Also have three nation championships in concrete canoe competitions.
