How many games in before teams realize we have two godzilla monsters at tackle?

And what do they do about it? They can try going outside, but we have fast and athletic ends. How long will it take for teams to start planning around those two? GO TIGERS !!!

Lol that could very well be the case. But would sooner think it would be the fans. The coaches won't see it until they watch the film and the janitor points it out to them. GO TIGERS !!!

I don't think Watkins and Pagano are just going to step aside and hand the position to Lawrence. It's going to be a good fight to watch.

Agreed on both points. Dex will make headway for a starting spot. But we are very deep at tackle. GO TIGERS !!!

I really doubt our defense skips a beat. In fact, I believe it may be better this year, even with the losses of great players. We are loaded with great talent for a change. (By the way, lots of people thought we would not be that good on defense this year, either.)

I don't see much of a drop in the front seven. Secondary may be a weak spot at first. But I feel we should be a very good unit again next year. GO TIGERS !!!

Dittos. Nobody thought we'd be as good this year as we were, either, but we are stocked, and I believe we have upgraded our overall talent and certainly our quality depth.

I would think out opponents will think pass first with most of our secondary from last year gone.

I do agree that with the exodus of our secondary , they will look to pass. But I think our pass rush will make that difficult. GO TIGERS !!!

Watkins, Wilkens, and Pagano are going to be a nightmare for Offensive coordinators this year, not to mention the fact that we have the top Defensive tackle prospect in the country coming in Dexter Lawrence. Will be interesting to see how the 4 deep plays out with two other talented guys in Huggins and Cervenka back as well.

If you are talking Defense then I think opposing teams will think about passing first with lack of experience in the secondary, But I have a feeling that overall the secondary will have a better season than last years secondary. I know that is bold to say, but Jayron looked slow and was out of position many times last season. I think the desire for the new guys to get some of the spotlight will make them more focused and dedicated than some of the former secondary players from last season. The talk of the NFL seemed to take away from their focus and dedication. Tankersley will hold his own and the beginning of the season will help the young guys gain experience and grow.
If you are talking about the Offense then I think the opposing teams will need to have one of the best defenses in the country in order to compete barring any injuries. With the return of Mike Williams and hopefully an ALL IN Deon Cain, Renfrow, Scott, and others it will be difficult to stop the pass. Also it will be difficult to stop the Wayne Train as well. He could very well have a better season this year than last and that is saying a lot.
