How many games had Cade played in now?

Is it three? I know had one series vs BC, the drive agsint BC and like two against LaTech. Am I missing anything else? I was just wondering if they are trying to redshirt him if possible.

he will not redshirt. I’d love to get cade snaps. but i’d love for DJ to keep improving and win another ACCCG and CFPNCG too.

This team isn’t there yet. they need to be playing every minute and every snap right now. I know Dabos philosophy in the past has been play everyone but that’s hard to do when your one’s and twos still are struggling to execute.

I think until the new coordinators get their feet under them and the starters are executing more consistently, the backups will not see much pt.

Correct, you can't redshirt your second team quarterback. Snaps is what's important.

Of course they will play Cade if they have to. But I wonder if there is still a very small chance he could get the redshirt.

And I really wonder who would come in if DJ got hurt in a tight game.
Would it be Cade? Or would it actually be Hunter Johnson with his experience?
Like…who is the true backup if we’re in a pinch?
It’s not like Hunter doesn’t have the talent or the knowledge.

Hopefully we don’t find out.
