How is USuC's O-Line?

Nov 23, 2012, 9:14 PM

I haven't heard much talk of it and I really haven't seen them play except for against UGA (which they dominated).

Average at best in my opinion. Shaw has gotten murdered all year long against average teams.

I hope you're right.

I would love to see our guys on the D-Line get after Shaw. Vic Beasley could be a game changer.

on paper it should be pretty good but it hasnt been. has played well in spurts and very badly in spurts. never seemed to hit that point when a line starts playing as a unit. very inconsistent and very average on the whole. we do have some big athletic guys though so maybe tomorrow is the night they put a whole game tomogether.

Them around 100% honest. I hope Reader and Williams gets some reps I think they could give us some spark.

they have a lot of false starts , we need to be loud . we will take all the free yards they give us

Wofford physically dominated them at the point of attack and moved some of those big uglies around at will. They were crushing the pocket and getting to Shaw in a hurry.

That being said, what my feathered friend above me said is very true. They are averaging 320 lbs up front so they have the size. There is some talent but they haven't gelled. They have given up a full sack per game more than Clemson's O-line on average but that means less than you'd think.

I think we will be able to get some pressure but we also don't have a player like Clowney so I just hope Vic can get in there and disrupt the flow of the game just enough.
