It won't matter because Oklahoma State is gonna win the Bedlam Series and break that 6 game losing streak against the Sooners on Saturday November,27th in Stillwater

Well...the backlash really happens when they knock Bama out at some point after they start playing their SEC schedule. I'm smiling thinking about it.

rather than potential. Potentially, OU is a playoff team if they finish undefeated.
OU has 3 games coming up that will give them opportunities against ranked/solid opponents.
If they keep winning, they'll leapfrog other teams in a hurry.
Basically the next 3 teams they play are the other good teams in the Big 12.
Also, teams in front of them have losses coming (i.e. Ohio St. plays Michigan St & Michigan...etc)
Thus far, OU has not won any games of significance....that's just how the schedule has gone for them this time.
I think Notre Dame's ranking is weird as well...they have big wins over Purdue and Wisconsin, who are now ranked in the top 20. They have better wins so far than Ohio State does and the only loss is to # 5 Cincinatti. Ohio St. basically has a win against Penn St. and has beaten the literal bottom of the Big10 as the rest of their schedule thus far. But for some reason, they are "top 4" all of a sudden.

They do look better with this freshman at QB though.
They will be in if they win out though - they have their toughest games still on the schedule.
