The article suggests he is making about $26,000 per year.

###. Had he left after his junior year, he'd be a millionaire.

He was projected as a late first round, early second round

pick had he declared after his junior year. Early to mid second round picks sign 3 year $3.5 million plus contracts with at least a year of guaranteed money.

you can't go off of projections...KJ was supposed to be a

1st round lock...based off of his combine workouts and interviews, JB wasn't going in the 1st as a JR, that's why he came back

Everybody knows he wasn't going to be a first rounder.

Oct 24, 2017, 12:19 PM

Early to mid second round was likely, so he returned to try to get into the first round. Instead he fell. Early to mid second rounders get millions of dollars.

Pretty simple actually.

wait a minute Hoss, first you say he was a projected 1st

line where it says early second round. See the part where I don't mention how much first rounders make. Now read the part where I say that mid to late second rounders make millions. Even though he was "projected to be a late first, early second rounder," it was likely that he would be a early to mid second rounder. He was not.

He now makes about $26,000 per year.

so you didn't say he was a projected first rounder?***

Are you aware that Blossomgame was drafted in the 2nd round? I think you meant to say early to mid 2nd rounders, but even so...

>"Early to mid second round picks sign 3 year $3.5 million plus contracts with at least a year of >guaranteed money. "

So, mid 2nd rounders get millions and late 2nd rounders get $26,000? That's not how it works. There is no guaranteed money for 2nd round picks. None. The higher you're picked the better chance you have of making the team with a decent contract, for obvious reasons, but it's not guaranteed. Maybe if Blossomgame left a year earlier, then he possibly would have been drafted higher in the 2nd round, and possibly would have gotten a contract close to that.

He's signed a G-League contract....

He would have been better off playing in Europe. At least then, he'd likely be earning six figures.
