How do you guys feel about black Clemson hats?

I used to be completely against them but now that I’m older I seem to be leaning towards one because it goes with anything.

Almost every Clemson hat I’ve ever bought has been black. As you stated, it goes with everything. But I also have dozens of orange ones as well of course.

I have one orange hat that I've worn to the game for 15 years. Pretty beat up.
Received a new one for Christmas, but a little nervous about wearing it when it matters.

I have 3 of the, an older one I wear occasionally and two which have something to do with a couple of championships we won, that are in an antique desk along with a couple of Coca-Cola six-pack bottles and cans, a couple of magazines from those championships and 2 hat pins.
I actually prefer light tan with the Orange Tiger logo or Orange with the White Tiger logo.
On an added note no Georgia or Carolina Black will be seen in my wardrobe.

Looks like a bunch of y'all have been watching quare eye for the straight guy again. The important thing is: can they win with what you wear on game day? Personally, when they're playing away games and I'm watching at home, it's my tiger paw brassiere/negligee. 2 out of the last 3 nattys!
as an aside: no one wants to watch games at my house any more.

I have a black cap with orange Tiger Paw nicely positioned at one o'clock that I purchased in Clemson over 20 years ago. When I wore it back then, I used to get looks like what kind of cap is that, it must be a high school copy cat cap, but it was an approved Tiger cap.
Slowly, black Tiger caps became more accepted and especially now since the NC caps are black. Go for it.

that I could wear around the streets of Coot Town and still feel "safe". That was my rationalization anyways.
But black is NOT a Clemson school color, it is the school color of a couple HATED teams that surround us. And it should remain that way.
Also, news flash - it ain't the 1950's. Anything "goes" with anything now.

I like navy best, but I'm still pretty attached to the white cap that survived Joaquin during the 2015 Notre Dame game.

The 80's. Navy background with orange color ###### looked good. I have not seen one of those in a long time. The gray or black background seems popular recently but the orange color hat is essential Clemson hat for me.

Black Clemson hats are perfect for the Coot fencesitters. I vote no. We've got purple, white, and orange to choose from. Black isn't a school color so I won't consider a purchase.
