Pressley Harvin III is rated as the #1 kicker in the nation and he's from Sumter, SC. With the exception
of FG's our kicking was woeful last season and it probably won't be much different this year. I know numbers are tight for this year's class but after watching this kids film he seems like somebody we would go after. His punting skills are insane.

While it is indeed 'dangerous' to question HCDS and staff (on tnet), I have to agree with you on this one. I don't follow our recruiting THAT closely, but it would appear that 'we' are lacking when it comes to kicking talent and our recruiting efforts in that area.

Well, it is hard to argue with 14-1 and 5 consecutive 10 win seasons...

It was also be pretty hard to get him to transfer from GT to us. Moot point I say!!!

Freshman LB J Skalski is highly rated as a kickoff guy and punter... Everyone is forgetting him... I think Greg Heugel proved to be an excellent FG kicker!

I'm all for Skalski as kick-off man. Nothing like having another LB out there as a back-up tackler. I think special teams will be vastly improved on kick-offs going both ways with the talent infusion with redshirts and the new true freshmen.

We got a very good look at Spence this Spring.

He...uhm, did not appear to be what was advertised there, sorry.

Maybe he just had a really bad Spring.

Punting and Kickoffs could be better, but...

To me the bigger needs by FAR in the areas of kickoff returns and covering kicks, including ONSIDE KICKS. Whoever coaches kick coverage last year needs to be replaced. It lost us a national championship and dang near could have lost us the ACCCG. Giving up a kickoff return for a TD in the national championship? Are you kidding me???
