Possibly because the "Swift Boat Liars club" was no more than a political farce, made up by and funded by GOP contributors who wanted to deflect the fact Kerry ACTUALLY SERVED IN VIETNAM unlike Bush who joined a Texas Air National Guard unit so full of sons of the rich that many Texans called it the Canadian Air Force South because it was as safe a place to go keep from going to Vietnam as Canada and their type of fighter planes were cold natured and more useful on the DEW line(which they never got sent to either) than in the tropics.
