How did FSU lose to lowly NC State after the beating

we got from their offense on our defense? I still don't think our defense is up to par with the top teams in the nation. We wont be a top ten 10 again until we establish some type of defense. And beating GT isn't that big of a deal they lost to MTSU. the real problems like d only get sugar coated when we manage to pull out a win like we did Saturday. When we play the big boys we always find out where we stand. half of our d is no names that people didnt want and they cant tackle as we see when chunks of yards are taken by the other team. Im sold on our offense but the d really does stink.

kind of like us last trip to Raleigh except we got blown out and FSU almost hung on

There is no way the Tigers go 11-1 with that D.Can the D get better yes but if it don't we will loss at least 2 more.

They lost by 1 point at end of game. We got throttled

last year by NC State. Tom Obrien teams seem to get better and better, week by week after starting off slow.

We have two very winnable road trips in Duke, Wake. The rest of the ACC games are at home. We have not lost a game at home since going back to last year..
Now, taking the coots is a different story and will require us to up our defense many folds... I think FSU will stumble a game this year and Clemson will win the its division.

N.C. State has always been to FSU what Georgia Tech has been to us. They were also the first team to beat FSU after they entered the ACC.
I think they fear the blah red uniforms. It has to be a mental breakdown.

I thought UVA was the first to.beat the Noles? I remember a Thur night game when Barber twins were there. Am I mistaken?

You may be right, I'll have to look back, just off the top of my head I remember a tight game in Tallahassee that the WolfPack held the Noles out of the endzone in the final seconds of the game to win.
