This guy don't no how live alone.

I remember when ... a friend, that's it, a friend ... lived alone.

Whole house was filled with empty beer cans and empty fast food bags, and the TV was on constantly.

Bought it a 2 years ago for 484K.

Mar 18, 2022, 9:36 AM

Spent $70K on redoing it himself, thinks he can sell it for twice what he has in it.

I'm gonna challenge this.

Mar 18, 2022, 9:34 AM

I'll never understand the "TV over the fireplace" thing

Mar 18, 2022, 9:39 AM

how can you possibly enjoy watching TV looking up? How does your neck handle that? I suppose you have to watch lying on the couch closest to the set.

Plus this one has a freaking light fixture in the line of sight causing unnecessary glare.

Why make the simple pleasures of life harder than they already are? Buy a dang TV stand.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If you're 7-10' away it won't matter

Mar 18, 2022, 9:41 AM

I've done it several times (3?) with no problem.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Looks like the bed takes up the entire room. Bad choice to publish it.

Looks like a "flipper" bought this house...

Mar 18, 2022, 10:42 AM

Home sold for $279k in 2013. Flipper bought it for $484k in August 2019. Took a while to fix it up and is now trying to sell it for $875k... Don't know about you guys but I'd never pay anything close to that for this house... This housing market is really looking like the 2006 housing bubble in/around Miami that had completely crashed by 2012...

Re: Looks like a "flipper" bought this house...

Mar 18, 2022, 11:19 AM

The housing crash which you reference wasn't only in Miami.

It happened all over the country, including the S.Carolina low-country.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

In that area it wasn't that bad really.

Mar 18, 2022, 11:25 AM

Housing prices came down a few percent, but they just sat on the market longer.

Buying in old village/old mt Pleasant has never been a bad investment.
