guess it doesnt matter that they are at an advantage that few other schools enjoy with their endowments. how else you think they keep getting these high draft choices to enroll in school. their stadium is a dump that is hooked up to the football stadium. money talks.

This is mostly internet myth. Vanderbilt, like Duke, Stanford and all of the Ivy League, offer up to 100% need based financial assistance. 100% aid generally cuts off at $60000/yr family income and works on a sliding scale from there. It’s based on your FAFSA application so you’re committing a federal crime to present fraudulent information. Not every baseball player is on 100% scholarship and there is no baseball endowment paying full rides to baseball players - that would be a clear NCAA violation regardless of their private school status. Anything offered above the 11.7 allowable baseball scholarships are available to the entire student body based on objective criteria.

correct vizcoot, vandy has no advantages. no one said every player is on full scholarship but some certainly are. more than any other school around. smfh. what is myth is anyone that believes you are a tiger supporter.

Can you quote me your sources confirming that more Vandy players are on full scholarship than any other school? Or did you just make it up? Most high level high school baseball players participate in very expensive year round training and travel ball. The families that can afford this are most often not going to qualify for full financial aid. By your logic, the Ivy League should be the most dominant conference in sports. Vandy also sets higher academic admission standards for athletes than the NCAA minimum - putting them at a disadvantage against virtually all of the Power 5 conference teams except Stanford. Could it possibly be that Tim Corbin is just a really good coach who learned from one of the best? I guess real Tiger fans, like yourself, feel the need to denigrate everything related to the Leggett era.
