It was a tough call on the PI but Clemson has been bit by poor calls before. It happens, but the late hit on DJ was an easy call.
FSWho has no reason to whine, their team was leading late in 4th quarter… just couldn’t finish while Clemson did finish strong

How was it tough? If it’s the one I’m thinking of the defender never turned his head and ran through the receiver. That’s called every time.

They have a point. Penalties kept us in the game in the 4th Q. Now, one can argue if they were good penalties or not, but the fact remains that 30 yards+ of that TD drive was penalties and until then our offense was doing jack squat.

Looked like textbook face-guarding. Not sure why RG-III was trying to defend it, except I think that's legal in the NFL, but I could be mistaken.

I don’t think it’s allowed anywhere. These announcers need to quit giving their opinions on stuff they don’t know about….like the guy the other day that said Jeff Scott should absolutely go for it on 4th and 1 from his own 42 and a 5 pt lead with 3 mins left. After they didn’t get it, he said he still would have gone for it lol. Guess that’s why they’re in the booth.

No controversial calls for either team. Kinda a first and fun to watch just letting the game playout.
FSU has always looked for refs to blame when they loose.
