Hope ACC and Swofford learned their lesson....

ACC Championship game sold out this year in Charlotte......had to give thousands of tickets away last year just to make Orlando appear over half full. Swofford, stay out of politics....it was an expensive lesson!!!

I'm not a big fan of Swofford, but everything is not his fault. The Presidents meeting in Clemson last fall made the decision to move the conference championships out of NC.
Swofford is the executive officer employed to implement the decisions of the Presidents.
He advises the Presidents, but he does not make the decisions.

I had forgotten about that. I wondered why last year didn't sell out according to the article. It does amaze me at the things that influence sports these days, that sports were not and shouldn't be a part of.
