Home Games For 12 Team Playoff

Friend told me, but I can’t find it in news article, that the first round of the new playoffs would be played at the home of the higher ranked teams. Is that right?

ohio state and what not in late december...not sure if they have heating under their fields because college doesnt typically play deep into december or january like the nfl does

Probably won’t have to worry about that most years as top 4 ranked conf champs get the bye and Clemson has managed their streak with a 4 team playoff. I think Clemson will be fine for the most part.

Big boy, old school football. Not that cold in Columbus but could be cold in Ann Arbor. What I read says only 4 first round games because the Top 4 get byes.

I think the higher (in the sense of higher ranked, not higher number) seed gets to choose the location, so they may choose home stadium or arrange a neutral site.

At least that was what was reported earlier.
