back in '07 or '08, a few co-workers and I went down to Palm Coast FL. I worked @ a high-end residential design/build firm (in g'ville) that was a preferred designer/builder in a new-ish coastal community (we also had a small office there) at @ golf resort, and we were there during a 'legends' golf tournament to promote the company
the first night, me and another guy from work drove to St Augustine for dinner & bar-hopping.
I'm pretty sure we hit every bar there....joined up with a bachelorette party, ended up on a boat @ 4am...
and then I remember waking up on a lounge chair on the golf course, mid tournament, as the crowd was approaching the green I'd apparently camped out at.
haven't drank that much since then

bring extra sheets to go on top of bed, extra blankets or sleeping bags and pillows, sleep with the lights on to discourage roaches, try not to sit down anywhere except on your clean linens, wear a mask so you don't breath in the mold, bring something like Febreeze to mask the smoking smell in the non-smoking room, a weapon would be nice for defense, avoid the slimy pool
Besides that the place is OK and there is a Bojangles across the street

and he could stay there. There's a beer fridge in there and some spilled 90 weight gear oil, but if he brings his own sheets, mattress, toilet and shower and he's good to go. Dogs might want to sleep outside, so they could keep him warm.
$200/night due to closeness to Shem creek.
Golf cart use not included. And stay away from my power tools!

a few years ago at HHI, TRDJ got got on the heel. Knee deep zero vis water. TRDJ did not like the feeling and immediately exited said shitwater. Upon examination, TRDJ had blood coming out of both sides of the back of my foot in multiple places.
Only explanation was something's mouf wrapped around me heel/achilles/back of foot and took a chomp.
Not bad enough for stitches, but bad enough for me to not want to reenter no vis water. Like ever.
