Gomer Pyle. I loved that episode where he is wounded by a German sniper while trying to raise the flag on Iwo Jima.

Hogan’s heroes and not even close. Little known fact, the four main Nazi characters were Jews. Klink, Schultz, Burkhalter and Hochstetter. The first three left Germany during WWII to get away from the Nazis.

Here's a little known fact . . LeBeau was actually in a Nazi campo for about 3 years!! How about playing a role on TV that was real life and not funny . . . several years before?

Absolutely Hogan's Heroes! We used to play Hogan's Heroes when we were kids. We dug tunnels and made underground forts. I can honestly say that I never played Gomer Pyle when I was a kid.
