I'm sorry. He's not even close. During the Air Triffic Controllers strike (under the Reagan administration) someone wrote an article about the 10 most stressful jobs in the world. I think they had nuerosurgeon as #1.
But, the weren't even close. The most stressful job in the world didn't even make their top ten.
Hands down, the most stressful job in the world is being a single parent. (I'm married, and not even a parent. But through my lifetime I have met several. Some handle it far better than others.) I don't know what is #2, but it isn't even close to #1.

Military, law enforcement, fire/rescue, powerline guys, construction, physicians (where, you know, real lives are at stake), teachers (especially the last 2 years!), child social workers, industrial manufacturing, asphalt crews, etc etc.
Give me the money and the responsibilities of a university president ANY day. I'll take it all!
