You cannot change history. You must learn from it and move on to be successful but you accomplish nothing by stamping it out. To remove Jefferson from UVA because he owned slaves is wrong. He FOUNDED the #### PLACE !!! You must judge people in the context of the period in which they lived. We don't EXCUSE the sins of the past but you cannot just wipe them out or you learn nothing. Honor the folks with for their positive contributions but then have a disclaimer that also tells the negative. My goodness this society needs to GROW UP !!
