Sloppy body

Dear Sloppy Body:

I hope you are making your way to a Clemson. A you are a Gameday legend. We have lost our ballon’s, the Hill is half full, the team runs down the hill in single file. We have lost enough traditions … we can’t lose you…please be there. I would imagine after 6 years you are a little more sloppy

Helium filled balloon at the Orangeburg County Fair. I was a smart young lad, and knew that these things could float off if they got away. So, I tied the string around my wrist, and kept that thing the whole night. Until we had made it all the way to the car to go home, and when I reached out my hand to open the car door, the string knot finally came undone. Nothing I could do but miserably watch it float away.

It probably killed a sea turtle somewhere in Columbia.

:(

"There's something in these hills and I suspect that's what it is - the ability of an institution through the unending dedication and greatness of its people - its administration, its faculty, its staff, its students and alumni - to impart to all it touches a respect, an admiration, an affection that stands firm in disquieting times when things around it give impressions of coming unglued." - Joe Sherman '34

I remember the epic "ballon" release in the 1980's. Several Central Spirit kids floated away. Not to mention the go-zillion turtles that died and the two planes that crashed.

His name is Davis Toney. Let’s find him!

During his first appearance he was a student and also he the guy with the microphone that leads chants in front of the student section. I think he had graduated by his second appearance.

He’s on Twitter. He’s retweeting the calls to be there.

I think we’ll see him!
