You see Spencer maybe earning a weekend rotation. Hennessy left some pitches hanging that acc competition would make us pay. Good thing is
It doesn’t look like Monte going to have to push the starters like last season. Got a good pen.

Would not be surprised to see Weatherly start against Furman. Higgy and Strider look like our top two weekend starters after this weekend. Probably going to take a few weeks to sort out roles for our pitchers but we do have more options.

Ya it's gonna take a couple series to adjust the weekend rotation and get it in the right order. I would agree that Spencer & Higgy look like the top two arms. Both of them have the heat but Spencer kind of lost control of those last few batters before he was pulled. Then the hit after he was pulled cost him a couple runs charged to him. Higgy was mixing his stuff and looked really good doing it. Fastball curve and the change up all working.
