Well, we don't know what he said to the coaching staff. We'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, keep on finishing this great class.

I said last week that he would probably give a silent commit, just so he can take his free trips the next few weeks. There's nothing wrong if he wants to have his announcement on NSD. I'm sure Dabo knows what he will do.

He said look for a surprise offensive player. Honestly I'm not saying Fields is definitely coming to Clemson, but would anyone be surprised if he did? I think at this point most expect him to end up at Clemson.

Did he say if it would be a 2015 commitment? It could be Feaster announcing his decision early? I don't think Feaster picking Clemson would be a surprise, but the timing may be the surprise.

I'd be surprised if we flipped the 5* DB from Bama too. I think we get Fields tho, he's a silent and wants those free visits.

One reason he committed to the coots was distance. He's not playing for Texas unless it gets fishy. He's a Clemson silent verbal IMO.

We rarely let them commit on campus. Even if he tried, Dabo would encourage him to go home and sleep on it and call back in the morning If he still feels same way. Been the M.O. for some time

I think we do need him. Yes we have good depth at the DB position but imo, we don't have anyone besides mac that is as talented as Fields. Also, its a very high possibility that if mac has a season like he did last year, then i believe he will go ahead and enter the draft after next season.

LSU offered him late and Texas hasn't been on him like clemson has. I think he said a few weeks ago that clemson was showing him the most interest so i really don't see him going anywhere else. I, like everyone else, would be shocked if he doesnt choose us
