A lot of us went to the game, and share the opinion like most on here. There’s something wrong on offense. Elliot’s play calling, DJ’s mind-funk, or whatever the heck it is, and the offensive line issues.
We were all uncomfortable with the amount of running the ball. Just very out of the norm for Clemson. The running backs looked great, but it feels like they used the running game because they have no faith in DJ throwing the ball. Ross is back and this is his last year. He’s wanting to make the catches to get him to the next level.
DJ looks so uncomfortable. Night and day from last season. This is on coaching to get this fixed, they get paid enough. Tired of the “everything if fine” attitude.

If you're unable to run the ball with authority and pass when you want to, you are in deep do do(see GA game). Our O-line needed the run blocking reps. Good coaching, pure and simple.

When you can run the ball successfully, do it until the opponent stops you from doing so.

I get the whole “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” thing. But wouldn’t yesterday’s game have been a great time to open up the playbook and give DJ some confidence with his arm?

6 fumbles and 2 interceptions. Granted we only lost one fumble. But these types of mistakes are death in a close game.

Agree! This is spot on. Something isnt right with this team. I dont believe its Lyn-J either. I have a bad feeling that our coaches have promised somethings to some younger players and our proven veterans may be paying the price. Dangerous practice if this is the case. Especially in the age of the portal and the NIL. Lyn-J is our 1a or 1b based on what you see. I personally am a little ticked at this staff right now. But I'm just a fan so there's that. I mean we dont matter except for 80k us of us pay the bills!!

The issue (in my opinion) is called 'NIL"
It has raised it's predictable ugly head and has bitten the Tigers in the butt.
Go back to the Georgia after-game player pressers. Who was the only player who showed up with in a three-piece suit, loaded down with jewelry, wearing a fedora, and doing personal grooming during the interview. Who was the 1st (no, I apologize) the 2nd player to announce NIL endorsements/contracts.
The O-line just might be bothered with that type arrogance. Just saying.

2 starts.
Both starts had ETN to rely on.
Now - full time starter with pressure.
No ETN
No chemistry with receivers.
Slot receiver missing.
New O line.
New RB - and the one experienced one is in love shack.
DJU now feeling pressure and looks stiff and slow. It will improve, but not in a week.
Survive weekly and if fortunate enough - make the playoffs and then let’s see where he stands.

Never said that I was a coach or qualified to be a coach. I’m a fan who, yes, has been spoiled by DW and TL, and national championships. Been a Tiger fan my entire life and a graduate. Through all the good, bad, and ugly, and will always be a Tiger fan.
But this is a message board where fans come to discuss issue and concerns, and that’s what I’m doing. People come on here to do that and are called coots, trolls, and are insulted by those who take personal offense.
