He's not just saying that he's a heterosexual male who, even though he's married, still recognizes attractive women when he sees them, and feels that attraction. No, he's saying he can't control that attraction, that it's just so powerful he can't be trusted, and he's unfairly, and very wrongly, assigning that incredible lack of self-control to all men. That's scary if he's that much of a loose cannon, and so willing to make excuses for his lack of self-control. Doesn't the old "Men just can't help it" excuse sound familiar? I thought we were way past that.

1. Few women enjoy the same things a man enjoys, very few and a significant number of those want to be a man.
2. ...and most important, a woman isn't going to be in her comfort zone long if her man hangs out much with any particular woman.
3. Most men who don't have a woman like that in the previous rule are looking for one.
4. How you gonna pick up a woman if you are hanging out with one in social settings?

To be fair, there are females who used to be my friend hoping for more, but I’m not in that game, so they don’t talk to me anymore. It is possible that some men don’t want to **** every vag that gives them 10 seconds of attention.

Steve Harvey is a game show host, not a purveyor of universal truths. Here’s the real truth. His reality is different from mine or yours. My perspective is that he is uncomfortable with women other than his wife because he objectifies a women’s sexuality ahead of evaluating their person as a whole. I grew up in a house full of women and have no discomfort developing friendships with women. I have life long friends that are women and recent friendly relationships with women, none of which are sullied by religio-fundamentalist BS like this.
