I’m a huge Stallone fan and he is putting a bow on the Rocky and Rambo franchises. Rocky was done with the last installment “Rocky Balboa” that was made because Stallone was very upset with the final product he had put out in Rocky V. He changed his mind when a young writer came to him about reprising his role in “Creed”. He had no idea it would go as well as it did, but he has now said that “Creed II” will be the last time he will play the role of Rocky Balboa.
That to me is sad, but nothing lasts forever. I’m sure if there is a “Creed III” that his name will come up and maybe, just maybe, they can get him to do a cameo. What I hope Stallone doesn’t choose to do it have Rocky die in the 3rd installment of Creed. That is something that would cause my eyes to sweat. I grew up watching the franchises of Rocky and Rambo. You don’t want to see your childhood heroes die on the big screen.
Back to Rambo. This will be the final installment to an awesome franchise. I’m hoping for this one to be a very exciting and fulfilling finale. Stallone has turned out to be one of the best all around actors, who has shown that he can play dramatic roles as well as the action hero. It will be a very sad day when he is gone. He seems like a genuinely good guy. A little fun fact. His IQ is very high and I believe measures his out as a genius or very close to it.

Sad that most of Hollywood’s male action heroes are well above 40 years old these days. The Rock is well into his 40s. Tom cruise is in his 50s. Sly, Arnie, and Clint are drawing social security.
