First of all, I am not posting this to try and convince y'all that Norvell is the next Dabo and all of y'all should become FSU fans.
I have come to appreciate this board and the serious X and O talk we have together. Just wanted to show you this video and see how an outsider, non-FSU fan might look at this interview and respond.
This is what I posted on my Nole board:
He may not turn this program around and become a long term successful HS at FSU. Words can only go so far.
But, this interview shows me why I should continue to be confident that he will.

Sorry Bret, but I have no use for him. He pulled a complete punk move against Clemson and Dabo 2 years ago in Tallahassee, and it will not be forgotten. I know, the claims of he had no voice in what happened.... sorry, his reaction and subsequent comments afterward prove differently to me! I like you Bret, you bring good content to this board and seem like a fine gentlemen. However, you can keep your coach. JMHO, no more!

Bret, I’m not a big Norvell fan, but I will tell you that if/when Deion Sanders becomes your next HC, FSU will set the recruiting record for top ranked all time class. Nobody in the country outside of FSU wants to see him take the reins there.

FSU is a big school, in a huge state and has good football bones. If boosters open their checkbooks to a few key NIL opportunities, the players will come because they know they will get exposure at FSU.

Honestly, you should fire him and hire Sanders. Program would instantly take off. NIL money and recruiting would instantly become insane.

Norvell is just a mature punk, and has learned how to hide it better than most. I trust him about as far as I can throw Lane Kiffin.

Thanks to all who replied. Most of my FSU buddies were ticked off at the cancelation. We thought it was Bush league. We blamed our ultra liberal administration for the decision
But I understand completely why y'all would blame Norvell. Thanks again for giving me your honest assessment of Norvell.
