Here’s what I want to see for our new assistant coaches.

Apr 19, 2022, 7:46 PM

1. Promote Lucas McKay.
2. Hire Tanner Smith from Stephen F. Austin.
3. Hire Sean Dixon from Middle Tennessee State.

That would be an outstanding staff in my opinion.

So who would be the bigman coach? Got to have a guy who was doing a good job of that like Coach Dean who was a good post player at Rhode Island

I honestly think that as long as it’s a great basketball mind and coach it doesn’t matter the “experience “, similar to Dabo promoting guys as position coaches that never played it. I think we just need to find the best coaches out there and Brad is a good basketball mind, just not a great recruiter.

Nobody cares. Basketball is dead at this university among the fan base.

Until this idiot is let go… nobody cares.

What happened to lose both assistants so fast, and then the best recruit Clemson has ever landed in portal....?

How about a new boss

Apr 19, 2022, 8:38 PM

That’s what most want

And wonder if Brad is having second thoughts in leaving now? But no other jobs or open unless about to...

There are jobs open

So is Bender definitely leaving? That’s a win if so. Lucas is an incredibly hard worker and high character. I’d love to see him get a shot, but I think he’s better at recruiting and admin than actual coaching. And agree 100% on Tanner. We need him here.

Doesn’t the “staff” include the head coach?

Who are we gonna put there?

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Brad had better move quickly

Apr 19, 2022, 9:44 PM

Every day we go basically without a staff guys in the portal are cementing relationships and plans with other coaches and players. Whoever we bring on will be starting from scratch in building those recruiting relationships.

Without a couple of impact transfers whoever comes is looking at a one year stay. Not the best landscape for landing quality coaches or transfers

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yep. He’s got himself in quite a pickle.

This could finally be the knockout punch.
Not looking good at all for the upcoming season.

Can’t be right because they’d cost less than our current staff. Thought Neff was going to invest. Thought it was the only way.

Nah, we’d just pay them more so they’d do a better job.

Doesn’t it work that way?
