Here's my 2 cents worth...

Sep 19, 2021, 12:10 PM

It's very clear we have championship caliber coaching on the defensive side of the ball.
It's just as clear, that we don't on offensive side of the ball...what's worse is that these guys such as TE and Robbie Caldwell have been here long enough to learn and grow into it...I guess it shows that AGE can become a factor such as with Robbie and Experience does NOT guarantee a coach can learn to be a championship caliber coach such as is the case with TE.

Jeff Scott is the missing link...experienced talent at key positions hid this from being so blatantly evident foe a few years but its very clear now.
TE has to go or be reassigned.
Robbie Cauldwell needs to retire or move to athletic dept.
Not sure how well Tyler Grisham is doing but the receivers are missing Jeff Scott too.

Dabo built this program, so I trust he sees what we see and even more. I trust he'll do what it takes to get our offense straightened out, but don't expect it to be fixed completely during this season...I also expect he'll give fans alot of coach speak during the whole process.

Thats all folks.
Go Tigers!!!

Well said.

My brother sat on the front row right behind the offensive bench. He said the body language was awful and that Caldwell and Grisham were awful sideline coaches. Every position group on offense has a coach that should be worried for their job and coaching like it.

The assistant coaches build the team - Dabo leads the assistants - he has to direct them in the right direction - it all on him - lead them or get rid of the slackers!

No doubt we have some serious offensive problems

I am as surprised and disappointed as anyone. But we are on the crest of the best decade in Clemson history. So, I am going to presume that the HC and staff that got us here will get things sorted out so this team maximizes it’s potential.
I am a proud Clemson grad and fan, but the game day meltdowns on Tnet highlight the most inflammatory of our fanbase and are a jaw-clenching embarrassment to those of us with a longer view. Go Tiguhs!!

Amen Brother. Last week they wanted to get rid of the students at the game. They stayed after the long delay and gave great support during the game It is these negative nellies that are assisting in bringing these down

One thing I learned in management classes is when you get to the top or crest, you soon start a downhill slide unless you make changes. If you make the right changes, you can take it even higher. Changes are uncomfortable to make, but Satan seems to make them every couple of years at Alabama and look where they are.

I think moving TE to a recruiting position would be appropriate, but his pride may not accept the demotion. His market value for a HC position is dropping like a stone though, which is unfortunate, because he may actually be better at that job than he is in the booth.
