Peaches are a weird thing for me. I HATE the fruit in its natural state, but I like peach ice cream, cobbler, etc. I know why too - I worked a summer at an uncle's peach shed in Barnwell County when I was a kid. The sweet stickiness - it got all over you, in the air you breathed, every part of your entire body by the end of the day. It got repulsive real quick. Haven't liked peaches ever since then.

handle the peaches that much except to throw at each other and passing trains. Still, I ate my share.
Just got to where I can once again just grab one and eat it.

Their Strawberry ain’t bad either.
I know what you mean about fresh peaches. I never liked dealing with the fuzz when it was my job to peal them for my grandmother to can.
